Sagna: We Must Beat United

Aresenal have produced some magical football this season, playing sublime stuff of which any team in the world would be jealous.

However, they have also struggled to find consistency and have been beaten three times, and beaten by three of the Premier League's more lowly sides. Newly promoted Stoke City beat the Gunners 2-1 at the weekend, and Arsene Wenger's team have also lost away at Fulham . Perhaps the biggest shock was the 2-1 defeat at the Emirates to another of the newly promoted teams, Hull City.

With the North London side now six points adrift of leaders Chelsea and Liverpool, defender Bacary Sagna has admitted that that Arsenal simply cannot lose to Manchester United on Saturday.

"We know this game is very important and we have to win it," the Frenchman told Arsenal TV Online.

"So it will be a very good game for us. We will want to show Arsenal are still here.

"We want to take three points."

Anything less, and the Gunners will be hoping for a good cup run to save their season.
