Ade: I Wouldn't Play With Any Man Utd Stars
Emmanuel Adebayor is out of Arsenal's clash with Manchester United on Saturday, but the Togolese forward is still trying to turn up the heat.
All signs point to the Red Devils in terms of a weekend winner, with Arsenal coming off the back of the topsy-turvy Tottenham tie, defeat at Stoke and the goalless draw with Fenerbahce in midweek.
Added to that, boss Arsene Wenger will have a hard time picking a team. Ade and suspended strike partner Robin van Persie will miss out, while Theo Walcott, Bacary Sagna, Mikael Silvestre and skipper William Gallas will face late fitness tests.
However, pondering the sudden injury crisis, Ade insists that he wouldn't want any of United's players in the Arsenal team.
"I don't think I would like any of the United players in our team," the 24-year-old said.
"We already have a great team and everyone is playing quite well, so we are happy with our squad.
"If we play our football, we've got a chance to win the game."
Adebayor will spend three weeks on the sidelines after Ryan Shawcross' tackle damaged his ankle during the Stoke defeat. Wenger has kicked up a massive fuss in the aftermath of the game.
