2008 has been the year of the meteoric rise of Aaron Ramsey; the 17-year-old made his debut for Cardiff City as recently as January, became the youngest player to feature in an FA Cup final in May and transferred to Arsenal over the summer in a deal worth more than £5 million.
Since arriving at the Emirates, Ramsey has shown some real promise, scoring on his Champions League debut against Fenerbahçe and netting a memorable strike for Wales under-21s in a commanding performance against England last month.
