Initial Injury Fears Allayed For Arsene
British tabloid newspaper the Mirror are reporting that Theo Walcott, who left the pitch at the Britannia Stadium during the loss to Stoke City with a shoulder injury, could be available for selection as soon as this weekend.
The pacey winger is set to miss the Champions League clash with Fenerbahce on Wednesday evening, but Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is reported to be optimistic about a speedy recovery.
It was initially feared that Walcott, who dislocated his shoulder in the past and had to undergo surgery, suffered a repeat injury, but it appears as though the initial diagnosis was false, and the England international felt a mere spasm.
Emmanuel Adebayor, who also left the Stoke field with an injury, is a major doubt for both fixures.
French defender Bacary Sagna, though, is fit to feature in both matches.
